MacWarner Bagpipe Products is proud to offer handmade bellows suitable for all 'cold blown' bagpipes!
Bellows may be most familiar next to the fireplace, but bagpipers have used them for centuries as the wood and leather air supply for cauld wind (or dry air blown) bagpipes such as Uilleann pipes, Scottish Smallpipes, Lowland/Border pipes, Spanish Gaitas and more! They are fitted under the piper's opposite arm and are the hallmark of an entirely different breed of bagpiper... My bellows are large capacity and simply constructed to ensure an effcient, comfortable and long lasting air supply for any lower pressure bagpipe that won't hurt your wallet!

I started making bellows out of the pure frustration of finding no inexpensive alternative to the dubious quality bellows available. I dismantled the flimsy bellows that came with my first smallpipes, which though handsome were not cheap, and unable to sustain my uilleann practice set. I refused to purchase an inefficient, sloppily constructed "bargain" build from the other side of the planet! I decided to take matters into my own hands, and these beautiful instruments are the result.
